The towns of Trophy Club and Westlake are located in Denton County near Grapevine Lake in the fast growing northern triangle of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Trophy Club, the first master planned community in Texas, is a residential community that covers 2,385 acres, 15 of which are used for commercial use. Trophy Club was originally planned to be a retirement community, but has grown to encompass a well-diversified population of some 7,000 plus. Students in the area can attend Byron Nelson High School. Located within the community, this school is on the cutting edge of educational facilities in Texas.

The town of Westlake Texas is an exclusive upscale community of only 200 plus residents. It is one of the few towns in Texas that doesn't charge a property tax. The two towns have an extremely low crime rate and offer excellent schools, a family friendly atmosphere and lush landscapes. Located nearby is the town of Roanoke. In addition to a great life these Denton county communities offer the lowest county taxes in the metroplex. The community was once called the Garden Valley before it was moved up the hill to avoid flooding from the Henrietta and Denton creeks. Roanoke had a population of 485 when it was incorporated in 1940 and has grown into a thriving community brimming with businesses, manufacturing firms, places of worship, schools, hotels and more.
